Falling Star Farm is a completely vertical operation, from breeding & lambing to shearing & spinning yarns. We raise Romney sheep in a variety of natural colors and fleece types, each animal offers something to the flock!

Each fleece is processed separately into roving and/or handspun yarn, marketed with their name and face on the label. Yarns range from simple two-ply worsteds to one-of-a-kind novelty pieces. Hand-knit and crafted items available seasonally. Major artisan fairs we vend at include the CT Sheep & Wool Festival, NY Sheep & Wool Festival (Rhinebeck), and the Fiber Festival of New England.
